Volcano

A Volcano is an opening in the earth’s crust through which lava, volcanic ash, and gases escape.

Type- There are 3 type of volcano.

1. Active Volcano
2. Dormant Volcano
3. Extinct Volcano

Active Volcano– A volcano will be classified as an active volcano if at the present time it is expected to erupt or is erupting already.

Dormant Volcano– A volcano that is not erupting or predicted to erupt in the near future is called Dormant Volcano.

Extinct Volcano– An extinct volcano is a volcano that no one expects will ever have another eruption.
